iPads, why we love them so much...

As society takes a step towards a more enhanced and 'materialistic' society, it is apparent that school settings have also resolved to more variant approaches in teaching material.
The usage of iPads in Geography class allowed us to experience the greater light of knowledge that lies in these beautiful devices. (Thank-you Steve Jobs, thank you. :))
Placing our pencils back in our backpacks and saving a few trees, we were able to establish a more effective method of learning class material through these Apple products and all its cool features. This proved to more appreciable rather than sitting in a cold classroom with Mr. Mahli attempting to teach us a chapter worth of material. (Him teaching through an iPad would obviously be a whole different thing).
In essence, the introduction of these new methods of gaining knowledge equivalent to one we achieve from books can also be seen as a step towards a more resourceful society. The reduction of paper and electricity could be a potential for the betterment of the present world conditions.
